Vegan Chocolate Milk (no refined sugar)


I wanted to find a way to make chocolate milk without refined sugars. 


  • 8 oz unsweetened plant milk
  • 1 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbs pure maple syrup or homemade date paste
  • 1/4 tsp Alcohol free vanilla extract (optional)

    You can also use medjool dates. It would be 2-3 dates per tbs. So i would consider 5 dates in this recipe. 

    I love this shaker cup. It has a little metal ball in it that mixes eveything up when you shake it. 

    Alternatively, you can use a blender. Especially if using dates. 
    To make this caffeine free you can use Carob powder in place of cocoa. 

    Adjust cocoa powder and sweetener to personal taste.

    You can keep the rest in the fridge for the week in your air tight blender cup. Or other lidded container.
